SUBSTANCE: method and system of reduction of spill of liquefied natural gas or liquefied hydrocarbon gas comprises the treatment of the surface of liquefied gas by combined air-and-water foam with low and medium expansion ratio based on synthetic hydrocarbon foamer with formation on the surface of liquefied gas of foam layer minimising the concentration of gas above the surface of the foamy layer below the lower concentration limit of flame distribution.

EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of reduction of spilled liquefied hydrocarbon gas and liquefied natural gas, possibility of safe and controlled liquefied gas spill response is provided, the formation and ignition of air-gas mix during liquefied gas spill are prevented.
