FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for eliminating the consequences of emergency technological spills of liquefied natural gas (LNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and can be used in power engineering, transport, gas production, gas processing and chemical industries. Disclosed is a method for liquidating LNG or LPG spills. The method includes applying water-air foam to the surface of a liquefied gas (LG) spill and disposing gas evaporating from the spill; motion of coaxial, touching or mutually intersecting jets of low expansion air-mechanical foam with a multiplicity of 5 to 15 and medium expansion air-mechanical foam with a multiplicity of 25 to 70. The LNG or LPG spill response system contains means for generating low expansion air-mechanical foam and means for generating air-mechanical foam of medium expansion made with the possibility of obtaining and applying at least one jet of hybrid water-air foam to the surface of the SG spill. The foam is obtained as a result of turbulent mixing in the process of concurrent movement of jets of air-mechanical foam of low expansion and air-mechanical foam of medium expansion.
EFFECT: invention eliminates the consequences of emergency technological spills of liquefied natural gas (LNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
