SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining a flavour-containing sheet for a smoking product, which includes the stage of applying a raw material suspension on a substrate, where the suspension contains polysaccharide and flavour, has the moisture content of 70-95 wt % and has the temperature of 60-90°C in a colloidal state; the stage of cooling the applied raw material suspension to a sample temperature of 0-40°C, with obtaining a gel; and the stage of thermal drying, including heating of a gelatinised raw material and its drying with a sample temperature of 70-100°C.
EFFECT: high flavour output and in the provision of the good quality of flavour preservation after storage.
