FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a smoking product containing a flavour delivery material, which releases flavourant during heating. Smoking product includes a substrate, generating aerosol, wherein aerosol-generating substrate contains flavour delivery material for thermal release of flavourant, flavour delivery material contains a polymer matrix and multiple areas including flavouring composition inside polymer matrix, wherein flavoring composition contains a flavourant, mixed with triglyceride filler, including at least one fat, including at least 30 wt% triglycerides, containing at least one carboxylic acid having a chain length greater than 12, wherein flavourant has a melting point which is within 15 °C of melting point of said at least one fat; wherein during heating of smoking product, flavourant is released from flavour delivery material.

EFFECT: proposal of new materials and mechanisms for releasing flavourant, which exhibit high resistance and better retain flavourants during storage.
