FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to be used on transport means and relates to cooling devices of operating equipment of diesel locomotives. A radiator of a honeycomb type for oil and water cooling consists of cooling tubes of a round cross-section with hexagonal bases located horizontally in the movement direction of a locomotive to provide air passage via the tube, with that, swirler inserts are soldered into cooling tubes of the round cross-section; besides, thickness of a plate of a swirler insert decreases from the tube edge to its centre. Shape of side walls of the radiator housing is changed in the form of a wave so that one radiator as to wave can enter another one with a possibility of adding additional tubes to overall dimensions of the radiator.
EFFECT: invention provides increase of a radiator surface area swept with air and improvement of dimension parameters of the radiator at honeycomb location of inserts.
