FIELD: heat engineering; transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cooling systems of internal combustion engines. Radiator of engine cooling system, for instance, that of automobile cooling system, contains upper and lower tanks and core placed in between and consisting of tubes along which liquid to be cooled flows, and curved channels for cooling air formed by porous metal filling space between said tubes, side walls and front and rear surfaces of core and formed in said volume from molten compact metal by filling said space with granulated material whose melting point exceeds melting point of required porous metal, heating of granulated material and said tubes to temperature close to melting point of compact metal, filling of spaces between grains of granulated material with molten metal and removing granulated material after cooling. Cooling air channels are formed also by through clearances non-filled porous metal and formed in said volume of core by fitting partition between said tubes. Melting point of partition material is higher than melting point of compact metal, porous metal is formed remaining volume of core and partition material is removed in process and after cooling.
