FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, namely to field of cultivation microorganisms for obtaining forage products, and can be applied in industry for obtaining biomass of carotene-synthesising yeasts as source of carotenoids. Method includes cultivation of microorganism culture, as such used are yeasts Rhodotorula glutinis ARCIM Y-608 with concentration of hydrogen peroxide in fermentation medium 5.0-6.5 g/l, introduced at 24-27 hour of cultivation, and exposure for not less than 2 hours with obtaining target product.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase output of carotenoids.
