FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to a method of producing carotenoid-enriched protein biomass on natural gas for use in fodders for aquaculture, poultry and farm animals using a strain of methane-oxidising bacteria Methylomonas koyamae VKM B-3802D.
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of cultivation of the new strain for production of protein biomass enriched with carotenoids, while maintaining high productivity.
