SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operation power optimisation of motor-driven pump at very low volume flow rate Q. Note here that preset pump head H is adjusted subject to volume flow rate Q in compliance with preset characteristic curve K. Preset heat H is decreased relative to preset characteristic curve K if volume flow rate Q drops below reference value Q_ref making maximum one tenth, preferable, one twentieth of maximum volume flow rate Q_max on characteristic curve K. Decreased proceeds unless volume flow rate Q is lower than reference value Q_ref and minimum head H_min is reached. Besides, invention relates to motor-driven pump with control electronics implemented to this end. Besides, it relates to program product with instructions for motor-driven pump control implementation process.
