FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: counterblow hammer contains vertical frame 9, in which with free movement top and bottom rams 8, 10 are installed. Top work zone of the frame contains communication and control system for top ram 8 movement comprising common pneumo-hydraulic accumulator 1 with gas phase and liquid phase work mediums, channels 23, pipelines 45, work cylinder 6 with central stock-plunger 7. Bottom work zone contains system of devices for hydraulic communication with channels 14, 21, 31, 39, device for bottom ramp movement, drives 28, 11, and pressure compensator with piston 19, under which spring 20 is located. The central stock 28 is made with piston 29 installed at central axis of the hammer and provided with its braking device and check valve 38.
EFFECT: movement of movable hammer parts is ensured under conditions of liquid friction in sealing assemblies, thus reducing friction forced and, hence, increases service life.
