FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for grinding of continuously cast article, in particular, flat article of rectangular cross-section with two opposed long sides and two opposed short sides. One article long side is arranged at grinding table and subjected to surface grinding by appropriate tool. Before or after grinding said long side, short side is similarly ground by said tool. Invention describes the device to this end.
EFFECT: higher quality and efficiency.
