SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Device for grinding continuous casting product (1) comprises at least two grinding tools and holding device (8). Holding device is designed to hold continuously cast slab in horizontal and vertical positions (I, II) and hold slab in said positions when grinding. After grinding first two opposite sides of slab, held in one position, slab is turned, clamped in second position and second two opposite sides are ground.
EFFECT: enabling movement of slab into required position and stable holding thereof during grinding.
