SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of operation of a wind power station, and the wind power station has an aerodynamic rotor designed as a rotor with a horizontal axis with a hub at least with one rotor blade and at least one load gage installed on a rotor for registration of wind load of the rotor is provided; the method includes the following stages: rotation of the wind power station rotor without or with small wind load for calibration of the load gage and with simultaneous registration of load measurements by means of the load gage, calibration of the load gage on the basis of load measurement and the known gravity forces occurring in the rotor.

EFFECT: operation efficiency improvement.
