SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of operating wind-driven power plant (200) for generating electric power from wind. At that, wind-driven power plant (200) has aerodynamic rotor with rotor bushing and rotor blades (201, 202, 203) installed by their angle (α), and aerodynamic rotor is operated with variable speed, and wind-driven power plant (200) has generator connected to aerodynamic rotor to generate generator power, at that generator is operated with variable torque of generator. Method comprises the steps of: determination of load value, which shows load of wind-driven power plant (200) from wind, and reduced number of revolutions and/or power of generator in load mode depending on load value, wherein at least the value (F) of the force acting on the wind-driven power plant (200) is used to determine the load value or as the load value.
EFFECT: invention discloses a wind-driven power plant and a method of operating a wind-driven power plant.
