SUBSTANCE: current collector is intended to supply motor and auxiliary units of ground transportation vehicles either pivotally connected or not; it passes close to the system of power supply elements installed on the fixed support (17) along the track of the transportation vehicle and is repeated along this track in order to supply the motor and auxiliary units of the ground transportation vehicle through a power supply cell (16), and it features at least one contact rail installed at insulating supports (11) fixed rigidly at the transportation vehicle by suspension points (34), each of them containing a resilient suspension device (30) and an active pneumatic, hydraulic or other suspension device (33). For the pivotally connected transportation vehicle the current collector is divided into conductive lines (14) separated by conductive connections (19) at the level of one or several articulated couplings of the transportation vehicle.
EFFECT: provision of a reliable contact between the contact rail and the system of power supply elements.
