SUBSTANCE: upper lateral device (8) for temporary or permanent collection of electric energy to supply motor and auxiliary units of land transport equipment (1), in particular, at municipal public transport and for the purpose of wired power supply of a transport vehicle it interacts with current collectors (16) placed along the route of a transport vehicle. Device includes the following: conducting line (14) placed along the upper lateral side of a transport vehicle, which contains a contact area (15) for current collector; at that the conducting area is coupled electrically to the power supply circuit of a transport vehicle; insulating support (24), at which the conducting line is fixed; a mechanical coupler for electric energy collector and a transport vehicle and damping device that absorbs shocks to which the current collector is subjected and provides satisfactory contact between the conducting line and current collector. The invention might be of interest for manufacturers of public transport.
EFFECT: improved reliability and safety and prevention of contact to the conducting line.
