FIELD: weapon and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: case consists of walls and a base. The case is made of material with the yield strength, higher than that of stock material. The method of fabrication of the case consists in that the case from cylindrical pipe in hot state is rolled and tumbled with formation of a mouth, an extraction flute and a base with a hole for a cap. In another version of the method the case is rolled and tumbled with formation of flanging which is welded to the base from thicker material, or the extraction ditch is located on the base.
EFFECT: case weight decrease.
