FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: rpm is determined as a difference between the critical rpm of the interferometer for the selected type of electromagnetic wave ("cut-off" frequency during rotation) and the critical frequency of the "resting" interferometer ("cut-off" frequency during "rest") for the same type of electromagnetic wave, divided by a constant value depending on the type of electromagnetic wave selected at the interferometer estimation. The direction of rotation depends on the sign of this difference.

EFFECT: improvement of accuracy of measurements and reduction of the device sizes.
