FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: narrow-band annular fibre laser consists of a pumping diode, a Peltier element and an annular unidirectional cavity. Said cavity includes an active fibre, a radiation splitter, a polarisation circulator, a fibre-optic insulator and a spectral compressor with a linear part in the form of a saturating absorber made of non-pumped active fibre and a fibre Bragg grating. The active fibre has dopant concentration and the fibre-optic insulator is placed between the spectral compressor and the polarisation circulator, mounted together with the radiation splitter to provide an opposite direction of radiation of the narrow-band annular fibre laser and pumping radiation.

EFFECT: device enables to achieve stable generation of laser radiation.
