FIELD: lasers.

SUBSTANCE: laser can be applied in processing of materials, labelling of products, in medicine, in converting the frequency of emission. The single-mode fibre pulse laser consists of a short-wave laser 1, the resonator whereof is formed by two fibre Bragg gratings (FBG) 2 and 3, and a long-wave laser 4, the active medium whereof is a saturable absorber. In the long-wave laser 4, the resonator is formed by FBGs 5 and 6. The externally pumped short-wave resonator 1 is a pumping laser of the long-wave laser 4. The short-wave and long-wave fibre resonators are arranged consecutively, wherein the active fibre of the short-wave laser serves as an amplifier for the output emission of the long-wave laser. The output of the laser is equipped with a filter in the form of a section of the active fibre of the long-wave laser.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency and increase in the output power of laser emission.
