FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the sphere of time synchronisation for two spaced stationary clock generators at two ends of a power transmission line. Two clock generators are synchronised initially so that they are within limits of the same oscillation period in the power transmission line; then the first presentation is formed as an oscillation mode of an oscillating quantity q in the power transmission line with such value as alternating current by measuring or registering this value in the power transmission line at the first end of the power transmission line; a sufficient number of samples q (t1) of the oscillating quantity q is recorded within limits of an oscillation period and a time mark is attached for the first presentation using the first clock generator; the second presentation of the same oscillating quantity q in the power transmission line is generated additionally by measuring or registering this value in the power transmission line at the second end of the power transmission line and a time mark of the second representation is set, using the second clock generator and the respective time marks the first and second representations are compared, i.e. adjusted, in order to define the shift of clock pulses between the first and second clock generators and based on this comparison the first and/or the second clock generator or at least the first clock generator are regulated in order to reduce the detected shift in clock pulses.
EFFECT: improved accuracy in clock generators synchronisation.
