SUBSTANCE: current value of the commutation current Icom and the current value of the commutation voltage Ucom are fixed for each phase at each switching. The commutation current is reduced to a rated voltage as per the following formula: It=Icom·Ucom/Urated, where It is the current reduced value of the commutation current. The value Pt of the current remaining life is calculated as per the formula Pt=(It/Io rated)2. The calculated value of the current remaining life Pt is added to the earlier accumulated life of a high-voltage switch Pa for each of the phases. The obtained value of the remaining life is compared with a switching durability resource Ps for each of the phases.
EFFECT: improving accuracy for the determination of the switch remaining life.
