FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method for controlling articles identity in a batch of one-type microcircuit chips is based on the control of an electromagnetic signal, at that to one output of each microcircuit chip in the batch an electric signal with a varying frequency within the range of 1-10 GHz is fed as an input signal, a frequency-response characteristic of an output electromagnetic control signal is recorded at the other output of the microcircuit chip, frequency characteristics of a return signal from the above input and output are also recorded, the received frequency characteristics for different microcircuit chips are compared with each other and on the basis of this control a conclusion is made on the identity of the microcircuit chips in the batch.

EFFECT: invention allows controlling the identity of articles in the batch of one-type microcircuit chips by a low-energy impact due to occurring parasitics in the tested articles as a result of its structure change.
