FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocketry and can be used for development of various-purpose rockets, particularly, space rockets for rescue purposes. Proposed engine consists of two solid propellant charges tightly secured to cases of channel-slot shape and connected by adapter with gas ducts and nozzles. Shaped slots of both channels slots are turned relative to each other about charge lengthwise axes through angle equal to half the spacing there between. Inlet of every nozzle is built in gas duct by 0.1-0.2 of diameter of inlet into gas duct.
EFFECT: pressure drop in combustion chamber, decreased passive weight of rocket engine body.
