FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering. A direct-drive wind power unit comprises a tower, a rotary base, a slow-acting wheel, quick-acting wheels, rotor elements, a stator and a guide device. Quick-acting wheels are fixed at the ends of slow-acting wheel blades. The stator is installed in the circular area of maximum approaching of rotor elements to axis of the slow-acting wheel.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improved energy efficiency.
