FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alternative power generation sources and can be used for power production. The gearless windmill incorporates a tower, a rotary base furnished with a tail part, a bracket with a segment-type stator and a rotor shaft, a windwheel with a hub running in the bearing fitted on the rotor shaft and blades with segment rotor elements. It also comprises a linkwork and damper elements fitted on the rotary base. Note that the linkwork fixed element is arranged on the rotary base, the moving part of the said linkwork is mounted on the aforesaid bracket, while the windwheel rotor shaft is arranged above the said linkwork to force the bracket into horizontal position in blasts. The proposed invention allows reduction of starting torques and lessens upon blasts.
