FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method provides for laying of the sugar beet root crops in piles, their coverage by three-layer polyethylene film with light-reflective surface, modified by antimicrobial compound with fungicidal activity synthesized at temperature at least 300°C.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of sugar beet storage by decreasing of the negative effect of solar insolation and suppression of microbiologic processes development during the root crops long-term storage.
