FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: agent for treatment of sugar beet to protect from storage decay containing aqueous solution of fungicide is described. Derivatives of carboxylic acid are used as fungicide and has formula RCOOX, where X=H, Na, K, C1-C10-alkyl, NH4, R=H, CH3, C2H5, C6H5, CH3-CH=CHCH=CH-, excluding propanoic acid and its salt with consumption rate of 0.1-100 hectare/t.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency while controlling storage decay and decrease of sugar lost during storage.
