FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: sugar beet plants for 17-26 days prior harvest are treated with grows stimulating preparation with concentration of 50 g/l in amount of 0.5-1.0 l/hectare. Harvested root crops before dispatch for storage are additionally treated with aqueous solution of said preparation with the same concentration in amount of 0.5-1.0 l/t of root crops. Plant and root crop treatment with abovementioned preparation before harvest and dispatch for storage, respectively, demonstrates biologically effectiveness of 70-80 %.
EFFECT: beet with increased sugar content and improved resistance to main gray rot agents.
