FIELD: transport; packaging.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a keg cover plate that has a housing and a valve element that can be moved inside the housing between open and closed positions. A locking mechanism retains the valve element in the open position so that gas can leave the keg and to prevent an unauthorised repeated filling after pouring. The locking mechanism includes the first part that can be moved together with the valve element and has a locking element engaged with the housing; and the second part that can be moved together with the first part when the valve element at filling is changed over from the closed position to the open position, and after that, it can be separated from the first part when the valve element after filling returns from the open position to the closed position.
EFFECT: separation of the above parts of the locking mechanism allows engagement of the locking element to the housing to retain the valve element when the valve element after pouring returns to the open position.
