SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a stop valve for providing or stopping the flow of pressurized liquid through pouring tube (13), having front part (13u), separated from rear part (13d) by means of a shut-off valve, with which both parts are connected, wherein said shut-off valve comprises (a) body portion (11) comprising chamber (11c) formed by a peripheral wall of the housing surrounding the longitudinal axis z, wherein said peripheral wall of housing comprises an inner surface of rotation, comprising housing inlet hole, configured to be connected to forward on direction of part (13u) of pouring tube (13), (b) outlet connector (11d) configured to be connected to or back of the pouring pipe part (13d), and having an outlet; (c) plug (21) formed by an outer peripheral wall of the plug, tightly adjacent to the inner surface of rotation of the peripheral wall of the housing so as to enable the rotation of the plug inside chamber (11c) around said longitudinal axis z, wherein said plug comprises (d) through channel (23) extending from upstream hole (23u) located on the outer peripheral wall of the plug to downstream hole (23d) such that it is possible to turn the plug around the longitudinal axis z from the position of the plug to closed position, (e) wherein (f) the outer peripheral wall of the plug comprises sealing projection (22s), in upper part of which there is a crest and which forms a closed contour defining empty space (23s) of external peripheral wall of plug so that in closed position inlet opening of housing of peripheral wall of housing faces empty space (23s) and surrounded by sealing projection (22s), characterized by that (g) outer peripheral wall of plug also comprises flow ledge (22f), in upper part of which there is a crest surrounding front on path hole (23u) so that in flowing position inlet opening of cylindrical chamber peripheral wall is surrounded by flow protrusion (22f), wherein said flow ledge preferably integrates common ledge section (22fs) with said ledge 22s.

EFFECT: disclosed is a shut-off valve for a beverage dispenser.
