FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand-held machines with reciprocating movement of the actuator. The hand-held machine, first of all piercing saw, containing at least one cross slide, and at least one guiding device. The cross slide under work mode performs reciprocating movement in the direction of the reciprocating movement. The guiding device contains at least one guiding assembly ensuring guided movement of the cross slide in the reciprocating direction and installed with possibility of rotation relatively to the pivot pin, and support structure for the cross slide installation with possibility of movement in the direction of the reciprocating movement. The support structure contains the first support assembly and additional support assembly. The directed movement of the cross slide along the guiding assembly is ensured by means of at least first support assembly.

EFFECT: decreasing of the installation height of the guiding device of the cross slide, and decreasing of total design volume or volume of the drive.
