SUBSTANCE: invention refers to power industry. Method of combined cycle power plant operation involves cooling of expanded work medium after steam generation in cogeneration heat exchanger, and steam component is condensed in contact condenser cooler by cooling water injection, with smaller part of exhaust steam expanded in a steam turbine down to a pressure exceeding compressed air pressure in combustion chamber, and larger part of exhaust steam is expanded to a pressure exceeding pressure in afterburning chamber; heat energy of compressed dried work medium is utilized to heat a part of condensed water used in steam generation. Invention covers also a combined cycle power plant for implementation of said method.

EFFECT: higher specific power and thermodynamic efficiency of combined cycle power plant.
