FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: under extreme conditions and in the absence of the possibility of replenishment of the water tank of the armoured vehicle the extinguishing liquid is delivered from remote sources via a helicopter. The roof of the tank is made two-leaved with an automated remote drive of the valves. The communication with the operator of the helicopter is established, through which common operation is provided by the consecutive motion of the extinguishing liquid from the helicopter reservoir to the tank of the armoured vehicle and its level is maintained in the water tank within the specified limits until the end of fire extinguishing by the helicopter shuttling from the armoured vehicle to the remote available sources of the extinguishing liquid and back.

EFFECT: fire extinguishing using the proposed method enables to eliminate the idle movement of the ground vehicle required to replenish the fire extinguishing liquid, to reduce the number of vehicles involved in fire extinguishing.
