SUBSTANCE: invention is a sports barbell which consists of a grip and a load, where the load is ring-shaped athletic weight plate, a handle, depending on the diameter of the ring-shaped athletic weight plates is inserted into the shaped athletic weight plates which are tightly fixed to the grip by a connecting mechanism consisting of a fixture element and a fastener. The ring-shaped athletic weight plate is fixed between the fixture element and fastener housing by means of the fastener stopper.
EFFECT: invention has the following advantages: using the ring-shaped athletic weight plates as load multifunctionality and material savings became available and through the use of the fastener it became convenient to attached and detached the load, and fastening became better.
