FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sports, directly to training apparatuses, sports exercise apparatuses. Technical solution: the mechanism for fixing and moving a weight is presented in the form of a trolley and a support axis whereon said trolley is placed. The trolley is oriented along the body of the axis, and this tandem can be located both vertically and horizontally. The support axis has holes along the entire length with a pitch of at least 20 mm, and the diameter of the holes is no less than 16 mm. The trolley has eight pairs of bearings placed in fours in the upper and lower parts of the trolley. The bearings are intended for movement and smooth sliding of the trolley along the support axis. The trolley also has a bar for holding and fixing a weight, e.g., sports plates. Further, the trolley has a lock made in the form of a body containing a spring and a crossbar. Said lock is connected with a handle for fixing the lock by means of a cable. The cable transfers the force for extension of the crossbar from the fixed position by means of the handle. When performing any exercises involving the weight, therein located on the bar, a person holds the fixing handle in the pressed state. This function can also be performed by an assistant of the exercising person. After performing the exercise or in case of a forced emergency, the person releases the handle, thereby fixing the crossbar of the lock (and therefore, the entire sports weight) in the nearest hole of the support axis, i.e. the spring located in the body of the lock pushes the crossbar to close, and vice versa, the fixing handle removes the crossbar from the hole of the support axis (like removing a handle from a safety apparatus). The ratio of the diameters of the crossbar and the holes of the support axis are technically faultless, based on the results of practical application.
EFFECT: presented solution - a mechanism for fixing and moving a weight - provides a possibility of controlling the load, the weight of the sports implement, applied in exercise on a sports exercise apparatus.
