FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: spin glass magnetic material HoFeTi2O7 is obtained via solid-phase synthesis from starting components Fe2O3, TiO2 and Ho2O3, in the following ratio, wt %: Fe2O3 - 18.63, TiO2 - 37.28, Ho2O3 - 44.09.

EFFECT: obtaining novel spin glass magnetic material, having high magnetisation intensity difference due change in sample cooling conditions, as well as low neutron absorption; the magnetisation intensity of the spin glass material is almost 20 times greater than that of existing material.
