FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technological processes associated with obtaining a new magnetic material with a magnetic state such as a spin glass, and can find application in developing models of new types of modern electronics devices. Method of obtaining Mn-Fe-containing spin-glass material includes drying the compounds making up the mixture at a temperature of 105 °C for 6 hours, melting them in a furnace, preparing solutions-melts in platinum 100 cm3 crucible at T=1,100 °C successive fusion of mixtures of Bi2Mo3O12 and B2O3 powders, then Mn2O3 and Fe2O3 are added to the melt, Na2CO3 powder is added in the last portions, after holding the solution-melt for 3 hours at T=1,100 °C and the temperature in the furnace is quickly lowered to (Tnas - 10) °C and then lowered slowly, at a speed of 3–4 °C/day, after 3 days the crucible is removed from the furnace and the solution-melt is drained, the grown single crystals in the form of black prisms are separated from the remnants of the solution-melt by etching in 20 % nitric acid solution.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to obtain Mn-Fe-containing magnetic material with a spin glass state with phase and chemical homogeneity.
