SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fishing and is intended for use on the leger rig. The inertial fishing reel comprises a housing connected to the device of attaching the housing to the rod, a spool with the line-receiver, mounted on the axis of the housing, a brake-rattle. The device of attaching the housing on the rod is made with the ability of rotation of the coil about the axis by 90 degrees, perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the spool, and its fixation. Pressing the lever arm provides rotation of the spool from the inertial to inertialess position and its fixation. Releasing the lever leads to an automatic return of the coil to the initial position and its fixation.

EFFECT: invention provides the ability of simple and convenient turning of the reel for putting out the tackle and automatic return to the initial position.
