FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to capacitors. An assembly of capacitors contains two or four in-series capacitors, and each capacitor is formed by a set of in-series capacitor cells. Each capacitor cell contains a device of a pair of elongated foil electrodes divided by a dielectric and folded multiply into a practically flat folded structure. According to one embodiment in the double-capacitor assembly the neighbouring cells in the set forming the first capacitor (11) are connected in series by the connection at one lateral side of their foil electrodes while the neighbouring cells in the set forming the second capacitor are connected in series by the connection of both lateral sides of their foil electrodes. The four-capacitor assembly is received by the connection of two double-capacitor assemblies in order to obtain bigger current and voltage.
EFFECT: integral assembly of high-voltage capacitors allows a very low own induction coefficient and multiple increase of current and voltage.
