FIELD: blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial explosives. The explosive comprises nitrated organic compounds, or nitrogen-containing combustible materials, or combustible boron compound, or nitrogen-containing oxidizing agents and boron nitrate, B(NO3)3. The explosive provides increased pressure at the pressure shock front through the evolution of primarily hydrogen or pure hydrogen. The ripple effect is based on the use of two energy reactions - oxidation of carbon, boron or metals, and the formation of boron nitride.
