FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: at air traffic control station there measured by means of radar installations at subsequent moments of measurements at the specified intervals of the value of coordinates, speed and heading of the aircraft and each air object, which are located in its zone of responsibility. For each moment of measurements there determined are current values of minimum approach time and minimum distance between the aircraft and each air object. Current values of minimum distances between the aircraft and each air object are compared to values of allowable distances. If current values of minimum distances between the aircraft and air objects do not exceed the values of allowable distances, then, current values of minimum approach times of the aircraft to air objects are compared to values of allowable approach times. If current values of minimum approach time of the aircraft to air objects do not exceed allowable approach times, then, a decision on occurrence of dangerous approach of the aircraft to air objects is taken.

EFFECT: improving reliable detection of dangerous approaches of an aircraft to air objects.
