FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: traffic light includes a transformer, an emitter, signal relay contacts, cable line conductors, an ac voltage source, the first output of which is connected through a first signal relay contact and a first cable line conductor to the first lead of the primary transformer coil. The circuit includes a diode, a first and a second capacitor, a dc control relay having a first and a second contact, a dc voltage source, the outputs of which are connected through the second and third contacts of the signal relay and the diode to the first and second cable line conductors. The second output of the ac voltage source is connected to the connection point of the first lead of the coil of the dc control relay and the first lead of the second capacitor, the second lead of which is connected to the second lead of the primary transformer coil, and the second lead of the coil of the dc control relay is connected to the first lead of the primary transformer coil. The secondary transformer coil is connected to inputs of the emitter.

EFFECT: preventing illumination of the wrong traffic light signal.
