FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: under this method nickel is melted, melt is held and mixed with rare-earth metal, melt induction agitation is performed, it is poured and cooled, at that nickel is melted in vacuum in inert crucible of the induction furnace, the produced melt is heated to 1500-1700°C and held for its degassing in the melting furnace at vacuum, then the nickel melt temperature is decreased to 1400-1550°C, and in vacuum or atmosphere of inert gas the rare-earth metal is added in proportion.
EFFECT: invention ensures low content in the foundry alloy of harmful admixtures, for example, oxygen, sulphur, nitrogen, and non-ferrous metal admixtures, for example, lead, bismuth, stibium, stannum, zinc, improves refining action of the foundry alloy, and ensures accurate calculation of the foundry alloy amount required for the alloys refining.
