FIELD: weapon and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge comprises a shell with propellant charge and grenade coupled therewith by linkage collapsible at shot. The grenade comprises a pyrotechnic delay mechanism, a powder charge and elements of light and sound signal sources placed in the grenade housing. The pyrotechnic delay mechanism is placed in the bottom of the grenade housing. The powder charge is placed in front the pyrotechnic delay mechanism and at action crashes the grenade housing into two parts. Sources of sound signals are formed by several whistles with differing pitch and timbre of sound. The sources are mounted in longitudinal channels between head part of the grenade housing and the housing of whistles. The housing of whistles contains axial recess in a front end face and throttle holes at the bottom of this recess. Throttle holes pass to longitudinal channels and are blocked in them by the ends of elastic plates. The opposite ends of plates are fastened to bottoms of the longitudinal channels. The whistles are fitted with the loud-hailer amplifying their sound formed by the head separated part of the grenade housing. Between the longitudinal channels the longitudinal grooves and via holes to them are made which are connecting them with the axial recess of the housing of whistles at its input and having the diameter, greater than that of throttle holes of the whistles. In front of the axial recess of the housing of whistles in the head separated part of the grenade housing the hole is made which is blocked by the cover dumped at the action of the powder charge and separation of the grenade housing into two parts.

EFFECT: creation of additional sound signals of the grenade.
