FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: shell contains a two-chamber cartridge, a high-pressure chamber open in launching direction and a grenade with a base ledge formed by a hollows plug housing a fuse screwed in the grenade bottom on the cartridge side. Grenade bottom represents a hollow stepwise cylinder with intermediate partition narrowing towards the bottom of thin-wall shell. Note that both the intermediate partition and the smaller-diameter thin-wall grenade stage are arranged in the thin-wall shell space forming a radial gap between the said stage and the thin-wall shell and the free end face space on the thin-wall shell bottom side. In the grenade bottom intermediate partition, before fuse detonator, a local narrowing is made to be destructed by the fuse, while the charge comprising a bulk pyrotechnic composition is arranged in the grenade bottom thin-wall stage and pressed against its partition by a wad.
