FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cartridge seal to tighten radial bearing. Seal is installed between the first part (1) and second part (2) of the radial bearing. The seal has two rings (3, 4) installed with possibility of movement relatively to each other. Both rings (3, 4) have same hollow cylindrical part and one transverse part, at that in work state the hollow cylindrical parts in transverse direction and transversely directed parts are locate at same axis against each other. To ensure possibility of the cartridge seal installation in side part of the radial bearing the hollow cylindrical part of the first ring (4) has larger outside radius (Ra2) relatively to the axis of rotation then any other hollow cylindrical part of the cartridge seal. The transverse tail (13) of the transversely directed part of the second ring (3) with the hollow cylindrical part of the first ring (4) creates the longitudinal gap seal, at that the outside radius (Ra1) if the transversely directed part of the second ring (3) is set larger then internal radius (Ri) of the hollow cylindrical part of the first ring (4), and outside radius (Ra1) of the transversely directed part of the second ring (3) is set lower then outside radius (Ra2) of the hollow cylindrical part of the first ring (4). The first ring (4) has elastic part (5) with transverse work edge (7) of the seal closely fitting to the hollow cylindrical part of the second ring (3).
EFFECT: increased sealing efficiency and simultaneously assurance of easy installation of the cartridge seals.
