FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cassette-type seals. Cassette seal includes an inner ring having a cylindrical section for support on the rotating element of the machine, a closing section, which extends radially from the cylindrical section, and a covering section, which extends in axial direction from the closing section. Covering section is spaced in radial direction from the cylindrical section. Outer ring is made with an axial flange for support on the housing, which is subjected to seal. Radial flange extends in the internal ring direction, herewith the sealing case made of elastomeric material is coupled with the axial flange. From the sealing case sealing edges are formed, herewith the first sealing edge with preliminary radial load tightly rests on the outer circle of the cylindrical section, and the second sealing edge extends in axial direction from the radial flange and extends further in direction of the lateral side of the covering section, lateral side of which faces the cylindrical part. Third sealing edge extends in axial direction beyond the radial flange and on the outer surface extends further, at least partially, beyond the covering section.

EFFECT: invention provides operation at low temperatures.
