FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electrochemical treatment and may be used for electrochemical tuning of nozzles made of current-conducting materials, mainly for nozzles of liquid-propellant rockets. The method includes delivery of current-conducting fluid through a hollow tool-cathode and treated holes, at that delivery of current-conducting fluid is made without current applied to tool-cathode, and flow rate of the fluid through each treated hole is recorded. Upon recording the flow rate a hole with minimum flow rate is identified, all holes except for the above one are plugged, current is applied and current-conducting fluid is passed through the above hole until the flow rate is reached equal to the average flow rate value through a similar hole. Then current is switched off, plugs are removed, flow rate of current-conducting fluid is recorded again for each treated hole and unequal distribution of liquid is defined for holes, when required the treatment is repeated till the required distribution of liquid through holes is reached.
EFFECT: invention ensures receipt of the required even distribution of liquid in nozzle holes without pressure reduction in it.
