FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodwork, particularly, to cuttings-free angular cutting of logs. Machine comprises bed (14), two pivoted mounts (1, 2) for logs (3), moving support (9), cutting tool and log spin-and-translate drive mechanism that allows cutting of radial blanks of preset width in spiral line. Rotary supports (1, 2) is arranged at carriage (4). Support (2) is engaged with drive (6) for turning and locking of the log. Carriage (4) is fed by hydroelectrical device (5). Support (9) is installed at drive carriage (8) with linear rolling guide (7). Cutting tool is composed of disc blades (10-13) located at 90 degrees relative to each other.
EFFECT: efficient and simple production of blanks.
